Shah Rukh Khan Purchases Delhi Home Where He Lived After Marriage

SRK reportedly buys Delhi home linked to early memories.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly purchased the second and third floors of a residential property in Delhi's upscale Panchsheel Park area for Rs 37 crore, adding a personally significant asset to his real estate holdings. The property is considered special for the actor as it is the home where he and his wife Gauri Khan lived after their marriage before Shah Rukh moved to Mumbai to pursue his film career.

According to reports, the Shah Rukh family already owned the ground floor and basement of the building, and with this latest purchase, the entire residential property now belongs to the family. The acquisition has strengthened the actor's premium real estate portfolio, which includes properties across India and overseas. The deal reportedly covers a plot measuring around 1,200 square yards, equivalent to approximately 10,800 square feet.

The Delhi residence holds historical importance in Shah Rukh's personal journey, as it represents the period before he became one of India's biggest film stars. Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan married in 1991 and spent the early years of their married life in Delhi before shifting to Mumbai as his acting career gained momentum. Over the years, the couple has maintained strong connections with Delhi, where Shah Rukh spent his childhood and early years.

Their children have also entered different creative fields, with Suhana making her acting debut in The Archies and Aryan exploring entrepreneurship and filmmaking. The family's growing presence in entertainment and business has contributed to their high-profile public image.

On the professional front, Shah Rukh is preparing for his upcoming film King, directed by Siddharth Anand. The action entertainer is scheduled for release on December 24, 2026, and is expected to feature the actor in a new action-oriented role. The film will also mark the first on-screen collaboration between Shah Rukh and his daughter Suhana Khan, with Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji and Raghav Juyal among the reported cast members.
