Samantha Turns Producer, Announces Release of First Film 'Shubam'

Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu announced on Saturday the release of “Shubam,” the first film from her production banner, Tralala Moving Pictures. The quirky comedy, slated for a theatrical debut, blends humor and thrills, offering a fresh take on everyday issues, as per a press release.

Prabhu, 37, launched Tralala in 2023, following her recent role in “Citadel: Honey Bunny” with Varun Dhawan. “Shubam” marks the banner’s inaugural project, reflecting its aim to deliver unique, thought-provoking cinema. “This film embodies Tralala’s vision. I’m excited for audiences to see our hard work take shape,” Prabhu said, hinting at building a distinct identity for Tralala’s future content.

Directed by Praveen Kandregula and written by Vasanth Mariganti, “Shubam” features Harshith Malgireddy, Shriya Kontham, Charan Peri, Shalini Kondepudi, Gavireddy Srinivas, and Shravani. The film promises an engaging mix of entertainment and originality, aligning with Prabhu’s goal to captivate and leave audiences eager for more.
