Samantha Shares Ugadi Pachadi Video, Raj Nidimoru Questions If She Made It

Samantha shares Ugadi pachadi clip, playful exchange with Raj

Samantha Ruth Prabhu has charmed fans with a sweet, home‑y moment as she prepared Ugadi pachadi with anchor Suma and director Nandini Reddy, then showed off the dish to her husband and producer Raj Nidimoru, cooing “Hi babu” during a video call. The segment, released as part of the promotional content for her upcoming film Maa Inti Bangaaram, offers a rare, light‑hearted glimpse into the couple’s domestic chemistry and Samantha’s playful Telugu‑style banter.

In the video, Samantha can be seen standing in the kitchen, dressed in a traditional Telugu look, as she and her co‑hosts mix the six‑flavoured Ugadi pachadi—made with raw mango, jaggery, tamarind pulp, neem flowers, salt and green chilli—on camera. When the group receives a video call from Raj Nidimoru, they tell Samantha he is the “other producer” of the project, prompting her to smile widely and greet him with an affectionate “Hi babu.”

She then holds up the freshly made pachadi, telling Raj she prepared it herself, at which he reacts with good‑natured scepticism. “Ugadi pachadi aa? Nuvvu chesava?” (“Ugadi pachadi? Did you really make it?”), he asks, breaking Suma and Nandini into laughter when Samantha appears to admit she did not fully make it from scratch. Raj then jokes, “Nuvvu chesi pedte tintanu le” (“I will eat it only if you make it”), to which Samantha beams and replies, “Okay, I will do that,” promising to cook it for him next time.

The candid clip is part of a broader promotional push for Maa Inti Bangaaram, produced under Samantha’s production house, Tralala Moving Pictures, and has been posted on YouTube and social media platforms. Fans have responded warmly to the domestic‑and‑playful tone, calling the video a “sweet couple moment” and praising the way Samantha blends tradition, humour and wifely affection as she prepares the symbolic Ugadi dish for her newlywed husband.

For Telugu‑language audiences, the use of phrases like “babu” and “nuvvu chesava?” adds to the charm, grounding the celebrity couple in everyday regional intimacy rather than polished, scripted promos. The pachadi itself, with its six contrasting flavours, traditionally stands for the mixed emotions of life, and in this context the segment subtly mirrors the blend of love, light teasing and shared laughter that Samantha and Raj display on camera.
