Salman Khan Teases Paparazzi A Day After Row, Says “Zor Se Bolo Sorry”

Salman Khan shared a playful exchange with paparazzi after recent criticism.

Salman Khan appeared to bury the hatchet with paparazzi on Wednesday night, just a day after sharply criticising them on social media for allegedly invading his privacy outside a Mumbai hospital. The actor attended the success celebration of the Marathi film Raja Shivaji, in which he made a cameo appearance. Viral videos from the event showed photographers apologising to Salman as he arrived at the venue.

Several paparazzi members were heard saying, “Kal ke liye sorry, Bhai,” while others added, “Love you, Bhai,” referring to the controversy that erupted the previous night. Responding to the apology, Salman jokingly remarked, “Yeh jagah sahi hai,” indicating that such interactions were more appropriate at a public event rather than outside a hospital.

The actor later playfully asked the photographers to apologise louder, saying, “Zor se bolo—sorry.” Riteish Deshmukh, who attended the event alongside Salman, was seen laughing during the exchange. The controversy began after Salman visited a Mumbai hospital on Tuesday night to meet someone privately. As he exited the hospital, photographers surrounded him and reportedly questioned him about his upcoming film Maatrubhumi.

The incident prompted the actor to post a series of angry messages on Instagram criticising the intrusion into sensitive personal spaces such as hospitals. In one of the posts, Salman questioned whether photographs and film promotions were more important than a person’s life, while another warned against exploiting someone’s grief for publicity. The actor also posted a defiant message referencing his resilience and fighting spirit, which quickly went viral among fans on social media.

The episode followed another reflective social media post by Salman earlier this week about loneliness and solitude, which sparked widespread speculation online. Actress Sneha Ullal also reacted to the post, referencing their 2005 film Lucky: No Time for Love. Salman was recently seen portraying Jiva Mahala in Raja Shivaji and is expected to next appear in Maatrubhumi.
