AD Singh, founder of Olive Bar and Kitchen, recounted an unforgettable incident involving the couple at his restaurant. Speaking to Outlook Traveller, Singh revealed that during one visit, Katrina arrived with her friends and claimed the main table outside, while Salman sat at the bar with his brothers. “We realized they were obviously fighting,” Singh said, describing the tense atmosphere.
The mood, however, took a romantic turn as the night progressed. Salman reportedly picked up a rose, placed it between his teeth, and danced playfully toward Katrina’s table. Singh described the gesture as “adorable,” noting that Katrina began laughing and smiling, eventually ending the argument. The moment, according to Singh, became a “charming, memorable” highlight of the early days of their relationship.

Despite their personal ups and downs, Salman and Katrina’s professional collaboration proved successful. Director Kabir Khan, who cast the duo in Ek Tha Tiger shortly after their breakup, revealed in an interview with The Bombay Dreams that it was challenging to bring them together on set. “Katrina had already been signed. She was Zoya. And then we went to Salman. This was the stage where they had broken up and weren’t that comfortable,” he said. Nevertheless, the film became a massive hit, spawning sequels and cementing their on-screen chemistry.
