Saiyaara Re-Releases for Valentine's: Relive Ahaan Panday & Aneet Padda's Epic Love Story

Mohit Suri’s musical romantic drama Saiyaara has returned to theatres nearly a year after its highly successful original run, just in time for Valentine’s Day. Although Yash Raj Films has not made an official announcement, showtimes for the film are currently visible on BookMyShow, indicating a limited re-release across select cities in India.

According to theatre listings, Saiyaara will be screened during Valentine’s Week in major urban centres including Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru and Pune. The timing of the re-release appears aimed at capitalising on the film’s strong romantic appeal and sustained popularity among audiences, particularly young viewers.

Originally released in July last year, Saiyaara emerged as one of the biggest box-office successes of 2025. The film grossed an impressive Rs 577 crore worldwide, becoming the second-highest-grossing Indian film of the year and the highest-grossing romantic film in Indian cinema history.

The film also marked a major breakthrough for its lead actors. Saiyaara introduced Ahaan Panday to Bollywood, while Aneet Padda, who had earlier appeared in Salaam Venky, stepped into her first leading role. Their performances were widely praised for bringing emotional depth and freshness to the genre.

Set against a music-driven narrative, the story follows Krish, a struggling musician, and Vaani Batra, an aspiring journalist and poet, as they navigate love and personal ambition. Several industry figures lauded the film after its release, with filmmaker Karan Johar calling it director Mohit Suri’s best work and praising the performances, music and technical excellence of the film.
