Rashmika and Her Father Don't Have a Problem with Salman Khan's Age!
Salman Khan Addresses Age Gap with Rashmika Mandanna in 'Sikandar'
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan tackled criticism over his 31-year age gap with "Sikandar" co-star Rashmika Mandanna during the film’s trailer launch on Sunday, March 23, 2025. The action-packed movie, directed by AR Murugadoss, is set for an Eid release on March 30.
Speaking to reporters amid tight security, the 59-year-old actor quipped, "They say there’s a 31-year difference between me and the heroine. If she doesn’t have a problem, and her father doesn’t either, why do you? When Rashmika gets married, has a daughter who becomes a star, I’ll work with her too—with her mother’s permission, of course!"
Salman praised Rashmika, 28, for her dedication, noting how she juggled "Pushpa 2" and "Sikandar" shoots. "She’d finish 'Pushpa 2' at 7 pm, join us at 9 pm, work till 6:30 am, and return to 'Pushpa 2'. Even after breaking her leg, she didn’t miss a day. She reminds me of a younger me," he said.
Addressing expectations for a typical Salman Khan film, he shrugged off pressure, saying, "With experience, the enthusiasm stays, and it’s getting easier." He credited fans for his box-office success, adding, "Festive or not, their love ensures my films—good or bad—cross Rs 100-200 crore."
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, "Sikandar" promises a grand cinematic experience for Eid 2025.
