Prabhas' Fauzi to Release on December 3, New Poster Unveiled
Prabhas' period drama Fauzi to release on December 3, 2026.
The makers of Prabhas-starrer Fauzi have officially announced that the much-awaited period action drama will release in theatres worldwide on December 3, 2026. The announcement was accompanied by a new poster featuring the actor in an intense action avatar, offering fans a fresh glimpse of the upcoming historical fiction film. Backed by Mythri Movie Makers and presented by T-Series Films, the project is among the biggest Telugu releases scheduled for the end of the year.
The newly unveiled poster shows Prabhas seated on a rock, covered in blood and holding a firearm, with several bodies lying around him, hinting at a fierce battlefield setting. The artwork carries the tagline, "A Battalion Who Fights Alone," suggesting that the film will revolve around themes of war, sacrifice and heroism. Sharing the poster on social media, Prabhas wrote, "Agyaatparv ENDS. #Fauzi on 3rd DEC 2026," confirming the film's release date.
Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, Fauzi marks Prabhas' return to the period drama genre following the blockbuster Baahubali franchise. The film is described as a historical fiction drama centred on the life of a soldier and is expected to blend large-scale action sequences with an emotional narrative. Since its announcement, the project has generated significant interest among fans eager to see the actor in another period role.

The film features Imanvi as the female lead, marking her acting debut, while veteran actors Mithun Chakraborty and Jaya Prada play pivotal roles. The production is being helmed by Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar and Bhushan Kumar. The technical team includes music composer Vishal Chandrasekhar, cinematographer Sudeep Chatterjee, and editor Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao, bringing together an experienced crew for the ambitious production.
Fauzi was first announced on Prabhas' birthday in 2023 with a first-look poster introducing his character. Since then, the makers have released limited promotional material, maintaining curiosity around the storyline and the actor's role. The latest release date announcement marks a major milestone in the film's promotional campaign as production progresses towards its theatrical debut later this year.
Prabhas was last seen in The RajaSaab, which released earlier this year, and has a packed slate of upcoming films. He is set to headline Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, in which he will portray a police officer. The actor is also expected to reprise his role as Bhairava in Kalki 2898 AD: Part II and reunite with director Prashanth Neel for Salaar Part 2: Shouryaanga Parvam, making Fauzi one of several high-profile projects in his upcoming lineup.
