No Feud With Diljit Dosanjh, Says Kangana Ranaut, Dismissing Rumours

Actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has dismissed speculation of an ongoing feud with singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh, saying their much-publicised social media clash during the farmers' protests was rooted in differing opinions rather than personal hostility. Speaking while promoting her latest film, Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata, Kangana said there was no animosity between the two despite widespread perceptions to the contrary.
The actor addressed the long-standing narrative that she and Diljit have been rivals ever since their heated exchanges on social media nearly six years ago. According to Kangana, the disagreement stemmed from contrasting views on a specific issue and should not be interpreted as a personal conflict. She stressed that differences in opinion do not necessarily translate into lasting enmity.
"We are not against each other. We just had contradictory opinions about a certain event," Kangana said, seeking to clarify her position. Her remarks come at a time when both she and Diljit have new films in theatres, with Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata and Main Vaapas Aaunga releasing on June 12.

Kangana further revealed that she has never met Diljit in person despite years of public speculation about their relationship. "I've got nothing against that guy. We've never even met in life," she said, indicating that the perception of a personal rivalry may have been exaggerated over time.
When asked whether she would be open to meeting Diljit in the future, Kangana responded positively, suggesting there was no reason such an interaction could not take place. Her comments appeared aimed at putting to rest lingering questions about the nature of their relationship.
The clarification marks a notable shift in tone from the highly public exchanges that once dominated headlines and social media discussions. By emphasising that their disagreement was issue-based rather than personal, Kangana has sought to draw a distinction between political or ideological differences and individual relationships within the entertainment industry.
