Nargis Fakhri Shares Instagram Post From Downtown Dubai Amid Ongoing Iran-Israel Conflict

Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri shared a candid note about anxiety and sleeplessness while staying in Dubai, as tensions continue to escalate across West Asia. Posting on her Instagram Stories, the actor described feeling uneasy amid uncertainty surrounding the ongoing Israel-Iran conflict. Her message comes at a time when heightened military activity and air defence alerts in parts of the Gulf region have raised public concern.

Nargis posted a photo from the balcony of her hotel and added the geotag Downtown Dubai, giving followers a glimpse of her surroundings. In the accompanying note, she wrote about the persistent unease that anxiety can bring. “No matter what, this feeling of anxiety & dread lingers because you just don't know what's going to happen next,” she said, reflecting the mood of uncertainty many residents and travellers in the region have reported in recent days.

Describing a restless night, the actor added that she struggled to fall asleep despite the late hour. “Can't even get to sleep; your brain is on high alert. It's so late and I'm wide awake,” she wrote. Her post quickly drew attention online, with fans expressing concern and urging her to stay safe. The message underscored how geopolitical tensions can affect civilians and visitors far from the immediate conflict zones.

Her comments came amid reports of intensified regional hostilities. Israeli warplanes reportedly carried out airstrikes in Beirut’s southern suburbs after rockets were fired from Lebanese territory towards Israel, according to local media. The strikes targeted Dahieh, a stronghold of Hezbollah in the Lebanese capital, triggering evacuations and emergency response activity, though an official casualty figure was not immediately available.

Meanwhile, authorities in the United Arab Emirates said air defence systems intercepted Iranian missiles and drones over the country’s territory. Officials reported that falling debris caused injuries to two people in Dubai. UAE diplomatic advisor Anwar Gargash urged Iran to act with restraint and responsibility, warning that continued escalation could deepen the country’s isolation at a sensitive geopolitical moment.

Professionally, Nargis was last seen in the comedy film Mastiii 4, directed by Milap Zaveri. She first gained major recognition in India with Rockstar and later appeared in films such as Madras Cafe, Main Tera Hero and Housefull 3, along with the Hollywood action-comedy Spy.
