Mithun Chakraborty Recovering Well After Minor Surgery in Kolkata

Veteran actor and Bharatiya Janata Party leader Mithun Chakraborty is recovering at a private hospital after undergoing a minor surgical procedure. West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari visited him on Friday and said the actor was in stable condition and expected to be discharged soon, offering reassurance to his supporters and well-wishers.

The nature of the procedure and the illness that led to Chakraborty’s hospitalisation were not disclosed. According to Adhikari, the actor had wanted details about his admission to remain private. No official medical bulletin was included in the available report, and the hospital had not publicly provided further information about his treatment or recovery schedule.

Adhikari shared photographs from the hospital visit on social media. He said he had met Chakraborty, spoken with him and enquired about his condition. The chief minister also wished the actor a rapid recovery and referred to him as a renowned film personality and a member of the BJP’s Central Committee.
