KRK Arrested After Firing Two Rounds at Oshiwara Society Flats
KRK arrested for firing at Oshiwara building with licensed gun.
Actor Kamaal Rashid Khan, popularly known as KRK, has been arrested by Mumbai Police in connection with a firing incident at a residential building in the Oshiwara area of Andheri. Police said the actor is the prime accused in the case, which involved two rounds being fired earlier this month.
According to officials, the incident occurred on January 18, when bullets struck a residential society in Oshiwara. The firing triggered an investigation by the Oshiwara police after residents reported hearing gunshots and discovering bullet marks within the building premises. No injuries were reported in the incident.
Police said KRK was taken into custody and brought to the Oshiwara police station late on Friday evening. In his statement, the actor allegedly accepted responsibility for the firing, confirming that the shots were fired using his licensed firearm. The weapon has since been seized by the police.

During the investigation, two bullets were recovered from Nalanda Society—one from the second floor and another from the fourth floor of the building. Officials said one of the affected flats belongs to a writer-director, while the other is owned by a model. A detailed forensic examination was conducted to trace the origin of the shots.
Initially, investigators faced difficulty as CCTV footage from the area did not yield clear leads. However, forensic analysis later suggested that the bullets may have been fired from KRK’s bungalow, prompting focused questioning and subsequent action by the police.
A team of around 18 personnel from the Oshiwara police station, along with multiple crime branch units, was involved in the probe. Police said further legal procedures are underway, and the case remains under investigation as authorities complete documentation and prepare for the next course of action.
