Khushi Kapoor Purchases 180 Sq Ft Apartment In Mumbai’s Bandra West For ₹63 Lakh

Actress Khushi Kapoor has purchased a 180 sq ft residential apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra West for ₹63 lakh, according to property registration documents accessed by CRE Matrix. The transaction for the compact apartment was registered on September 1, 2026. The property is located in Samtadeep Building on 25th Road, in one of Mumbai’s established residential neighbourhoods.

The apartment has a carpet area of 180 sq ft and a built-up area of 216 sq ft, according to the registration documents. Khushi purchased the property from Farooq Chagla, with the consideration value recorded at ₹63 lakh. She paid ₹3.15 lakh in stamp duty as part of the transaction.

Based on the registered consideration, the property works out to approximately ₹35,000 per sq ft on a carpet-area basis. Calculated against the built-up area, the effective rate is around ₹29,167 per sq ft. These figures are based solely on the consideration value recorded in the registration document and should not be treated as an indication of the prevailing market rate in Bandra West.

Bandra West remains among Mumbai’s prominent residential markets, supported by connectivity, social infrastructure, proximity to commercial areas and premium housing developments. The locality, particularly the Pali Hill area, also has a long association with Bollywood personalities and high-net-worth residents. Its proximity to film and entertainment hubs including Andheri, Versova, Juhu and Goregaon has contributed to its appeal among members of the film industry.

Khushi is the daughter of filmmaker Boney Kapoor and late actress Sridevi. She made her acting debut with the 2023 Hindi film The Archies and has subsequently appeared in Hindi-language films. Her latest property purchase adds to the list of real estate transactions involving prominent personalities and their families in and around Mumbai.

Other notable transactions involving celebrities have included Anjali Tendulkar purchasing a 391 sq ft apartment in Virar for ₹32 lakh in 2025, reportedly for an employee. Gauri Khan, interior designer and wife of actor Shah Rukh Khan, also rented a 2BHK apartment in Khar West for staff at a starting monthly rent of ₹1.35 lakh in 2025, according to property documents accessed by Zapkey. Khushi and seller Farooq Chagla were not available for comment on the latest transaction.
