Khatron Ke Khiladi 15: Hot Wax Stunt Leaves Rubina Dilaik Screaming in Pain

Rohit Shetty-hosted Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 has faced renewed criticism after Rubina Dilaik, Ruhanikaa Dhawan, Harsh Gujral and Vishal Aditya Singh performed a hot-wax challenge in the latest episode. The stunt required them to collect hot wax on their hands and endure the pain for as long as possible.

Rohit informed the contestants that the challenge would continue for 10 minutes, but they could withdraw if the pain became intolerable. The participant who collected the most wax would win and avoid elimination. He also said the stunt would be conducted under medical supervision as the four contestants prepared for the task.

Ruhanikaa became emotional before the stunt, while Rubina admitted that all four participants were frightened. The contestants screamed in pain after the task began, with Rubina saying the heat was unbearable. The challenge intensified when Rohit announced that the flow of hot wax would be increased.

Ruhanikaa eventually withdrew as the intensity rose, while Harsh emerged as the winner. After completing the task, Rubina said her skin’s tolerance had continued to weaken and that she wanted to test her pain threshold. Vishal also described the challenge as extremely painful and spoke about its physical impact.

Videos of the stunt triggered concern among viewers, with some warning that hot wax could cause blisters. Others compared it with the previous week’s rubber-pellet challenge, which reportedly left four contestants bruised. Several social media users argued that the latest tasks appeared excessively painful rather than fear-based.

Contestants have previously said that the production team provides detailed safety briefings, professional stunt supervision and medical support. Banijay Asia CEO Deepak Dhar has also maintained that the programme’s challenges are conducted under expert supervision. Meanwhile, Vishal has been eliminated after failing to complete the elimination stunts. The show airs on Colors TV and streams on JioHotstar.
