Fastest to ₹500 Crore: Dhurandhar Breaks Records Set by Jawan and Stree 2
Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar becomes the fastest Hindi film to cross ₹500 crore, achieving the record in 15 days.
Dhurandhar, the spy thriller directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh, has become the fastest Hindi film to cross the ₹500 crore net mark at the domestic box office, achieving the milestone in just 15 days following its release on December 5, 2025. The film surpassed the previous record held by Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan (18 days) and Shraddha Kapoor's Stree 2 (also around 18-19 days for similar benchmarks), cementing its status as a blockbuster phenomenon.
Led by Ranveer Singh in a high-intensity role, alongside a strong ensemble cast including Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and child actor Sara Arjun, Dhurandhar has maintained exceptional momentum through its third week. Early estimates indicate the film added substantial earnings on its 15th day, pushing its India net collections past ₹500 crore, driven by strong word-of-mouth, repeat viewings, and sustained occupancy across urban and mass markets.
The achievement marks a career high for Ranveer Singh, whose previous films had not reached this elite club, and for director Aditya Dhar, known for Uri: The Surgical Strike. Globally, Dhurandhar has already exceeded ₹700 crore, positioning it among 2025's top grossers behind titles like Chhaava and regional blockbusters, with the potential to climb further amid limited competition.
