Dhurandhar 2 Records Low Collections on Day 63 Amid Extended Theatrical Run
Dhurandhar 2 continues its theatrical run with low Day 63 box office collections.
Ranveer Singh’s spy thriller “Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge” has entered the final phase of its theatrical run, with collections on Day 63 dropping to Rs 20 lakh net, signalling a steady wind-down after an extended and highly profitable box office journey. On its 63rd day in cinemas, the film reportedly earned Rs 20 lakh across 409 shows, reflecting a 9.1 per cent decline compared to the previous day’s Rs 22 lakh collection. Trade estimates suggest that the film is now firmly in its late theatrical stage, where daily earnings are primarily driven by limited screenings and residual audience demand rather than widespread footfalls.
Despite the slowdown, Dhurandhar 2 continues to post exceptionally large lifetime numbers. The film’s India net total currently stands at approximately Rs 1,146.55 crore, while domestic gross collections are estimated at Rs 1,372.19 crore. Overseas markets have added around Rs 426.67 crore, taking the worldwide gross collection to roughly Rs 1,798.86 crore, according to industry tracking reports.
Occupancy trends on Day 63 further underline the film’s declining but still active theatrical presence. The Hindi version recorded an overall occupancy of 18.51 per cent, beginning with 6.62 per cent in morning shows. Afternoon occupancy peaked at 25.69 per cent, indicating pockets of sustained interest during mid-day screenings. However, evening shows dropped to 14.15 per cent, while night shows registered 16.46 per cent, reflecting uneven turnout across time slots.

The film’s overall box office trajectory highlights a strong front-loaded performance followed by a gradual tapering over several weeks. Dhurandhar 2 opened with Rs 43 crore from previews and surged to Rs 102.55 crore on Day 1. It reached its highest single-day collection of Rs 114.85 crore on Day 4, supported by strong occupancy levels exceeding 75 per cent at that stage. Week 1 concluded with a massive Rs 674.17 crore, followed by Rs 263.65 crore in Week 2, demonstrating sustained early momentum.
However, collections began to decline in subsequent weeks, with Week 3 bringing in Rs 110.6 crore and Week 4 adding Rs 54.7 crore. The downward trend continued through later weeks, with Week 5 earning Rs 19.52 crore, Week 6 at Rs 12.45 crore, Week 7 at Rs 5.58 crore, and Week 8 closing at Rs 3.89 crore. By this stage, most daily earnings had fallen below the Rs 1 crore mark, except for occasional weekend spikes. Trade analysts note that the film has now entered a phase typical of long-running blockbusters, where screens are significantly reduced and collections depend heavily on niche audiences and repeat viewers.
On Day 61, the film had already recorded its lowest single-day collection so far at Rs 15 lakh, highlighting the steep slowdown in momentum. Even as the film approaches the end of its theatrical run, its overall box office performance remains among the stronger commercial runs in recent years. However, analysts suggest that the focus now shifts from daily collections to its final lifetime gross and post-theatrical revenue streams, including digital and satellite rights.
