Amid growing speculation about a third instalment, casting director Mukesh Chhabra has clarified that there are currently no plans for Dhurandhar 3. His statement comes just days after the release of Dhurandhar 2, which has witnessed a massive box office response.
Addressing the rumours in a recent interview, Chhabra dismissed the ongoing speculation, stating that “nothing like that is going to happen” and attributing the buzz to widespread rumours. He added that he would personally clarify any major updates directly on social media if required, effectively putting an end to the ongoing chatter around a third film.
The sequel, starring Ranveer Singh, has emerged as one of the biggest hits of the year, crossing the ₹500 crore mark in India within just a few days of release. The film’s strong performance has naturally led to expectations of franchise expansion among fans and industry observers.
