Dhamaal 4 Day 1 Box Office Collection: Ajay Devgn Film Opens Well

Ajay Devgn's comedy adventure film Dhamaal 4 opened on a strong note at the Indian box office, collecting an estimated Rs 14 crore net on its first day of release. The film, which hit theatres on July 10, 2026, recorded earnings from 10,669 shows across the country and registered an overall audience occupancy of around 24 per cent, according to industry tracking reports.
The film's opening-day gross collection in India stood at approximately Rs 16.8 crore, while its overseas markets contributed around Rs 5 crore. With these figures combined, Dhamaal 4 achieved a worldwide gross collection of about Rs 21.8 crore on its opening day, marking a positive start for the latest instalment of the popular comedy franchise.
Among major markets, Chennai recorded the highest overall occupancy at 49.3 per cent, followed by Lucknow at 34 per cent and Jaipur at 31 per cent. Mumbai reported an occupancy rate of 24 per cent, while the National Capital Region, Bengaluru and Hyderabad each recorded around 22.8 per cent occupancy during the first day of screenings.

Directed by Indra Kumar, Dhamaal 4 continues the franchise's signature blend of comedy, adventure and chaotic situations. The film features a large ensemble cast, including Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Jaaved Jaaferi, Sanjay Mishra, Ravi Kishan, Anjali Anand, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Esha Gupta, Upendra Limaye and Vijay Patkar in important roles.
The latest chapter follows a group of unusual characters who set out on a treasure hunt after discovering a mysterious map. Their adventure takes a humorous turn when they join forces with an IRS officer, leading to a series of misunderstandings, chase sequences and unexpected events. The film combines elements of friendship, ambition and the pursuit of fortune while attempting to retain the entertaining spirit associated with the franchise.
With a positive opening-day response at the box office, Dhamaal 4 will now depend on audience word-of-mouth and weekend growth to determine its overall theatrical performance.
