The makers of Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh in the lead role, have officially postponed the film’s much-anticipated trailer launch after the tragic blast near Delhi’s Red Fort on Monday night. The decision comes amid national shock and mourning over the explosion, which claimed multiple lives and left several injured.
In an official statement released on Tuesday, Jio Studios, B62 Studios, and Team Dhurandhar confirmed the delay, stating that the trailer launch scheduled for November 12 will no longer take place. The statement expressed condolences for those affected by the incident and assured that a new date for the trailer event will be announced soon. The team emphasized that the postponement serves as a mark of respect toward the victims and their families.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, best known for Uri: The Surgical Strike, Dhurandhar is said to be inspired by real-life events and delves into the world of espionage and cross-border intelligence missions. The film is shaping up to be a gripping spy thriller that highlights the bravery, sacrifice, and moral complexities faced by agents working behind enemy lines.

While the trailer release has been temporarily withheld, there has been no change to the film’s theatrical release date. Dhurandhar is set to hit cinemas worldwide on December 5, 2025.
