Cocktail 2 Collects Rs 76.25 Crore Gross Worldwide In Three Days, Eyes Rs 100 Crore

Cocktail 2 collects Rs 76 crore globally in opening weekend, targets Rs 100 crore.

Cocktail 2 has made a strong start at the box office, moving steadily towards the Rs 100 crore worldwide mark within its opening weekend. Directed by Homi Adajania and featuring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles, the film has generated strong audience interest since its theatrical release on June 19. According to trade estimates, the romantic drama has accumulated substantial earnings during its first three days in cinemas.

Industry tracker reports indicate that the film has collected approximately Rs 76.25 crore gross worldwide by the end of its third day. Of this total, around Rs 57 crore gross has come from the domestic market, while overseas territories have contributed nearly Rs 19.25 crore gross. The encouraging performance has positioned the film among the stronger Bollywood openers of the year and strengthened expectations of crossing the Rs 100 crore milestone in the coming days.

The film recorded a domestic net opening of Rs 13.5 crore on its first day and followed it with an estimated Rs 16.25 crore on Saturday. These collections helped the movie build momentum over the weekend, with audience turnout remaining healthy across multiplexes and several urban centres. Trade analysts have pointed to positive word-of-mouth and strong advance bookings as important factors supporting its performance.

Despite its success, Cocktail 2 is operating in a competitive theatrical environment. The film is currently sharing screens with several releases, including Bandar, Obsession, Main Vaapas Aaunga and Haunted 3D: Echoes of the Past. Nevertheless, it has managed to maintain a strong presence at the box office during its opening weekend.

The film serves as a follow-up to the 2012 hit Cocktail, which starred Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan and Diana Penty. While the sequel introduces a new cast and storyline, it retains themes of relationships, emotional conflicts and personal choices that helped make the original film popular among audiences.

Critical responses to Cocktail 2 have been mixed, with reviewers noting that the sequel takes a different narrative route from its predecessor. However, audience curiosity, star power and strong promotional campaigns have contributed significantly to its commercial success. With weekend collections remaining robust and weekday performance now under focus, the film appears well placed to achieve another major box-office milestone in the near future.
