Cocktail 2 Box Office Day 20: Shahid Kapoor Film Nears Rs 95 Crore
Cocktail 2's India net collection nears Rs 95 crore after 20 days.
Shahid Kapoor-starrer “Cocktail 2” continued its steady run at the Indian box office on Day 20, moving closer to the Rs 95 crore net mark despite a slight decline in daily collections. The film earned an estimated Rs 0.45 crore net in India on Wednesday, July 8, compared with Rs 0.50 crore on the previous day. Its total India net collection has now reached Rs 93.90 crore after nearly three weeks in theatres.
The film’s India gross collection currently stands at Rs 111.93 crore, according to trade tracker Sacnilk. Overseas, “Cocktail 2” added another Rs 0.10 crore, taking its international gross collection to Rs 30.40 crore. With these figures combined, the Shahid Kapoor-starrer has earned an estimated Rs 142.33 crore worldwide and continues to attract audiences despite entering the later stages of its theatrical run.
“Cocktail 2” was screened across 1,172 shows nationwide on Day 20 and recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of 13.99 per cent, down from 19 per cent on Tuesday. Morning shows registered 6.62 per cent occupancy before improving to 12.85 per cent in the afternoon. Evening shows recorded 10.31 per cent occupancy, while night screenings delivered the strongest turnout at 17.15 per cent.

The film opened with Rs 13.50 crore on June 19, recording 21 per cent occupancy across 10,835 shows. Collections rose to Rs 16.25 crore on the second day and peaked at Rs 17.75 crore on June 21. The film then earned Rs 6.75 crore each on June 22 and June 23, followed by Rs 5.25 crore on June 24 and Rs 4.25 crore on June 25, taking its first-week collection to Rs 70.50 crore.
During its second week, “Cocktail 2” added Rs 18.90 crore to its domestic total. The film collected between Rs 1.25 crore and Rs 4.40 crore per day from June 26 to July 2, with occupancy ranging from 12 per cent to 26 per cent. It entered its third week with collections of Rs 0.75 crore, Rs 1.15 crore and Rs 1.25 crore from July 3 to July 5 before slowing further on weekdays.
The film earned Rs 0.40 crore on July 6 and Rs 0.50 crore on July 7 before slipping slightly to Rs 0.45 crore on Day 20. Despite the gradual slowdown, “Cocktail 2” remains close to crossing the Rs 95 crore net milestone in India. Its performance over the coming days will determine whether it can reach the mark as it continues its theatrical run amid changing audience occupancy and competition from newer releases.
