"Bhuvan Ko Apni Gauri Mil Gayi": Aamir Khan Confirms Relationship With Gauri Spratt on 60th Birthday
Aamir Khan introduced girlfriend Gauri Spratt to the media on his landmark 60th birthday.
Bollywood actor Aamir Khan once confirmed his relationship with Gauri Spratt during a media interaction held on his 60th birthday. The actor introduced Gauri to the press during a meet-and-greet event and described their relationship as serious and committed, revealing that the two had known each other for more than two decades before becoming partners.
Speaking to journalists at the event, Aamir said he and Gauri first met around 25 years ago but only began their relationship more recently. He told the media that they had been together for about a year and a half and were deeply committed to each other. The actor also revealed that he had introduced Gauri to fellow Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan during a gathering at his home in Mumbai.
During the interaction, Aamir also spoke about Gauri’s professional background, noting that she works in film production. The actor shared a light-hearted detail about their relationship, saying that he sings to her every day. The moment drew smiles from the media present at the event and added a personal touch to the otherwise formal birthday interaction with journalists.

Aamir also made a playful reference to his iconic character Bhuvan from the film Lagaan, saying, “Bhuvan ko apni Gauri mil gayi", a line that resonated with fans of the movie. In the Oscar-nominated film, actress Gracy Singh played the role of Gauri, the woman who falls in love with Bhuvan’s character. The reference linked the actor’s personal life to one of the most celebrated roles of his career.
At the same event, Aamir even sang a few lines from the classic Hindi song “Kabhi Kabhi Mere Dil Mein", dedicating it to Gauri. However, he also jokingly reflected on the idea of marriage at his age, saying he was unsure whether getting married again at 60 would be appropriate. The actor added that his children were supportive and happy about his personal life.
Aamir was previously married to film producer Reena Dutta, with whom he shares two children, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan. He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005, and the couple separated in 2021. Despite the separation, Aamir and Kiran continue to co-parent their son Azad Rao Khan while maintaining cordial relations.
