Baaghi 4 Opens at ₹13.20 Cr Day 1; Shroff, Dutt Star

The action thriller "Baaghi 4", headlined by Tiger Shroff and Sanjay Dutt, raked in Rs 13.20 crore net at the domestic box office on its debut day, as announced by producers Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. Directed by Kannada filmmaker A. Harsha in his Hindi debut, the film hit theatres nationwide on Friday, building on the success of the franchise that began with "Baaghi" (2016), followed by sequels in 2018 and 2020.

In the movie, Shroff reprises his high-octane style as Ronny, a character who survives a suicide attempt by train and spirals into a chaotic blur of reality. The ensemble cast includes former Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu making her acting debut, alongside Sonam Bajwa, Shreyas Talpade, and Saurabh Sachdeva in key roles.

"The roar has just begun…" "Thank you for all the love," the production house posted on social media, signalling optimism for the weekend haul. The strong opening underscores Shroff's draw in action genres amid a competitive Bollywood landscape, potentially setting the stage for another franchise hit. Early reviews praise the film's stunts and intensity, though critics note familiar tropes. Box office trackers will monitor if it sustains momentum against upcoming releases.
