Aamir Khan Lauds Arijit Singh After 4 Magical Days at His Bengal Home

Aamir Khan thanks Arijit Singh for the Ek Din songs and calls the 4-day stay at his home magical.

Aamir Khan has shared a warm note of appreciation for singer Arijit Singh after spending four days at the musician’s home in West Bengal, describing the experience as “magical”. On Monday, Aamir Khan Productions posted a picture of the actor-producer with Arijit Singh, in which Aamir is seen showing something on his phone to the singer. The caption read, “Thank you, Arijit, for lending your voice to our film Ek Din. The four days spent with you, your family, and your team felt magical.”

The message came days after Aamir Khan was spotted visiting Arijit Singh at his home in Jiaganj, Murshidabad, during a private stay last week.

Arijit Singh has been closely associated with several films featuring Aamir Khan. In 2016, he sang the hit track Naina for Dangal. The collaboration continued with Laal Singh Chaddha (2022), the official remake of Forrest Gump, where Arijit lent his voice to Tere Hawaale and Phir Na Aisi Raat Aayegi. He also sang Oh Sajni Re for Laapataa Ladies, directed by Kiran Rao and produced by Aamir Khan.

Ek Din, the upcoming film mentioned in Aamir’s note, is a romantic drama starring his son Junaid Khan and actor Sai Pallavi.

Meanwhile, Arijit Singh recently returned to the public stage with a performance in Kolkata on Sunday. He performed at Anoushka Shankar’s concert, marking his first public appearance after announcing a pause from regular playback singing. The singer collaborated with Anoushka Shankar and percussionist Bickram Ghosh to perform Maya Bhora Raati, a Bengali classic originally sung by Lakshmi Shankar and composed by Pandit Ravi Shankar.
