Skoda Confirms Slavia Facelift Launch in India by Late 2026
The Skoda Slavia facelift launches in India by the end of 2026 with updates.
Skoda Auto India is gearing up to launch a facelifted version of its popular sedan, the Slavia, by the end of 2026. Following the recent update of its Kushaq SUV, the brand is set to refresh the Slavia, one of its best-selling models, which competes with rivals such as the Volkswagen Virtus, Hyundai Verna, and Honda City.
The facelifted Slavia has been spotted testing multiple times, revealing a redesigned front end featuring a vertically slatted grille, updated headlamp and fog lamp units, and a reworked bumper with a web-like air dam. The rear section will also receive revised taillights and a redesigned bumper to give the car a contemporary look.
Inside the cabin, the updates are expected to align with the Kushaq facelift, including refreshed upholstery, an upgraded infotainment system, a revamped digital instrument cluster, and a panoramic sunroof. Higher-end variants may feature segment-first offerings like a rear-seat massage function, elevating comfort for passengers.

Mechanically, the facelift is likely to retain the current engine lineup. This includes the 115 hp 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine, available with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter automatic, and the 150 hp 1.5-litre 4-cylinder engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. There is speculation that an 8-speed torque converter option could be added, similar to the Kushaq update.
With this facelift, Skoda aims to maintain the Slavia’s appeal in the competitive mid-size sedan segment while offering contemporary features and styling updates to attract new buyers.
