Royal Enfield Bullet 650 Teased Ahead of EICMA 2025 With Classic Design And 648cc Twin Engine

Royal Enfield teases its Bullet 650, blending retro design and modern performance, set for debut at EICMA 2025.

Royal Enfield has unveiled a teaser for its upcoming Bullet 650 motorcycle, confirming the model's place in the brand's storied lineup ahead of its official debut at EICMA 2025. The short video, shared on the company's social media channels, captures the rider's perspective of the instrument console while the iconic Royal Enfield exhaust note reverberates in the background. Accompanying the footage is the caption "A new chapter in motorcycling's oldest legacy," explicitly identifying the bike as the Bullet 650 and building anticipation for tomorrow's reveal.

Powering the Bullet 650 is expected to be Royal Enfield's reliable 648cc parallel-twin engine, the same unit found in the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. This air- and oil-cooled mill delivers 47 horsepower at 7,250 rpm and 52.3 Nm of torque at 5,150 rpm, mated to a six-speed transmission with slip-and-assist clutch for smoother shifts. While the core specifications should remain unchanged, sources suggest the Chennai-based manufacturer might detune the engine slightly to align with the Bullet's laid-back cruising character, emphasising torque in the low-to-mid range over peak performance.

Design-wise, the teaser highlights timeless Bullet aesthetics, including a chrome-trimmed headlight nacelle, hand-painted tank pinstripes, and polished metal badges that pay homage to the model's 1930s origins. Shared components with the recently launched Classic 650 include a semi-digital instrument cluster, adjustable brake and clutch levers, and the optional Tripper navigation pod. Royal Enfield has blended these modern conveniences with retro styling—round mirrors, peashooter exhausts, and wire-spoke wheels—to preserve the Bullet's heritage while enhancing everyday usability and safety through dual-channel ABS.

Beyond the Bullet 650, Royal Enfield's EICMA showcase promises a broader lineup refresh, featuring the adventure-orientated Himalayan 750, an all-electric Himalayan variant, the rally-spec Himalayan 450 Rally, and a potential Interceptor 750. This multi-model launch underscores the brand's aggressive expansion in the middleweight segment, targeting global markets with affordable, characterful motorcycles. Pricing and exact availability details for the Bullet 650 are anticipated during the November 4 presentation, positioning it as a more accessible entry into the 650cc twins range.
