Mahindra XEV 9e Electric SUV Reimagined in Custom Yellow; Mimics Luxury Performance Styling
A custom yellow-painted Mahindra XEV 9e showcases striking design similarities to Lamborghini Urus in viral video.
A customised version of the Mahindra XEV 9e has caught widespread attention online after a video showcased the vehicle in a striking yellow paint scheme, drawing comparisons with the high-performance Lamborghini Urus. The clip, which has been circulating on social media, highlights how aftermarket modifications can significantly alter the visual identity of a production electric SUV.
The video, shared by a social media user, features the XEV 9e wrapped in a bright yellow finish, a colour not officially offered by Mahindra & Mahindra for this model. The standard colour palette includes shades such as Desert Myst, Ruby Velvet, Everest White, Nebula Blue, Deep Forest, Tango Red, and Stealth Black, making this customised version stand out prominently on the road.
The bold yellow wrap, combined with the SUV’s coupe-like silhouette and aggressive design, gives it a visual resemblance to the Lamborghini Urus. Observers have pointed to similarities in the sharply sculpted body lines, wide stance, and sporty proportions, which together create a premium and performance-inspired appearance despite the XEV 9e being positioned as an electric family SUV.

Additional comforts include an air purifier, cooled storage, and split-folding rear seats, aimed at enhancing convenience and passenger experience.
