Kia Launches New Carens Clavis EV Trims Under ₹22 Lakh with Top Features

Kia adds two affordable Carens Clavis EV variants offering premium features and strong range.

Kia India has ignited festive excitement by launching two new variants of its groundbreaking made-in-India electric MPV, the Carens Clavis EV: the HTX E at Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and the HTX E [ER] at Rs 21.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Responding to robust market enthusiasm from urban families and young professionals drawn to sustainable, stylish mobility, these trims slot between the HTK+ and HTX options, enhancing choice with tailored features and performance upgrades.

The HTX E comes with a 42 kWh battery offering a 404 km range, while the HTX E [ER] upgrades to a 51.4 kWh pack for an impressive 490 km. Building on HTK+ essentials, both variants boast a panoramic sunroof, LED lighting across all three rows, auto up/down windows, an ECM room mirror, wireless charger, and a two-tone tilt/telescopic steering wheel. Comfort is elevated with a seatback folding table, virus-protecting air purifier, leatherette upholstery, multi-color mood lamps with footwell glow, and solar glass for refined cabin serenity.

At the heart of the Carens Clavis EV lies a potent 99 kW or 126 kW motor churning 255 Nm torque, ensuring effortless drives for daily commutes or long hauls. Fast charging zips from 10% to 80% in 39 minutes, blending practicality with zero-emission prowess. The spacious, premium interior caters to modern needs, delivering everyday versatility in a forward-thinking package.

Safety takes center stage with 18 advanced aids, including standard six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and Hill Start Assist Control (HAC).
