2026 MG Hector facelift launched in India at Rs 11.99 lakh with updated design, new features, and gesture controls.
JSW MG Motor India has officially launched the 2026 MG Hector facelift in the Indian market at a starting price of ₹11.99 lakh (ex-showroom). First introduced in 2019, the Hector competes in a crowded SUV segment against models such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Harrier, and Mahindra XUV700. The latest update brings a much-needed refresh with visible cosmetic and feature enhancements.
On the exterior, the 2026 Hector adopts MG’s new design language, highlighted by the Aura Hex Radiator grille with a bold hexagonal pattern. It also features redesigned Aura Sculpt front and rear bumpers and new Aura Bolt alloy wheels. Adding to its visual appeal are two new exterior colour options—Celadon Blue and Pearl White—enhancing its road presence.
Inside the cabin, the facelifted Hector introduces refreshed dual-tone interior themes. The 6- and 7-seater variants get the Dual Tone Urban Tan finish, while the 5-seater version features a Dual Tone Ice Grey theme. Premium touches include Hydra Gloss finish accents, fabric seat inserts, ventilated front seats, a leather-wrapped dashboard, and a 6-way power-adjustable driver seat.

The SUV continues with its large 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system, now upgraded with Smart Boost technology for smoother and faster performance. New additions include the first-in-segment i-SWIPE touch gesture controls, a digital key with key-sharing functionality, predictive maintenance alerts, and remote AC operation. A fully digital instrument cluster with a 17.78 cm LCD display further modernises the cockpit.
Under the hood, the 2026 MG Hector facelift is currently offered with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 143 hp and 250 Nm of torque, paired with either a 6-speed manual or CVT gearbox. Diesel variants are expected to be introduced in early 2026, expanding the powertrain lineup.
MG has also strengthened ownership benefits with flexible financing options of up to 84 months and its “MG SHIELD” after-sales program. Buyers receive a standard 3+3+3 package, which includes a three-year unlimited-kilometre warranty, three years of roadside assistance, and three labour-free periodic services, ensuring a more convenient and stress-free ownership experience.
