Tuono 457 Now More Accessible at ₹4.01 Lakh After Price Reduction
Aprilia reduces the Tuono 457 price to ₹4.01 lakh ex-showroom, absorbing the GST impact.
Aprilia India has reduced the price of the Tuono 457 in the Indian market. The motorcycle is now priced at ₹4.01 lakh (ex-showroom), down from the earlier ₹4.24 lakh. The move comes after a previous price hike, and the company appears to have absorbed the impact of GST 2.0 to make the bike more competitive in its segment.
The Tuono 457 continues to be offered in two colour options — Piranha Red and Puma Grey. Unlike the RS 457, which recently received new colour schemes such as Coral Snake Blue, Arsenic Yellow and GP Replica, the Tuono has not been updated with additional shades. The RS 457 GP Replica also gets a quickshifter and an adjustable brake lever as standard, features not mentioned for the Tuono 457.
Powering the Tuono 457 is a 457 cc parallel-twin engine with a 270-degree firing order. The motor produces 47.6 hp and 43.5 Nm of torque and is paired with a six-speed gearbox. The bike delivers strong mid-range performance, along with sufficient low-end torque for city riding and highway cruising.

On the features front, the Tuono 457 comes equipped with full LED lighting, a colour TFT display with smartphone connectivity, traction control, multiple riding modes and dual-channel ABS. Its sharp bodywork, exposed frame and muscular stance give it a distinctive naked streetfighter appeal.
With the revised pricing, the Tuono 457 may attract buyers looking for a premium middleweight naked motorcycle. It now sits closer in price to established models in the segment. One of its closest alternatives is the KTM 390 Duke, priced at ₹2.99 lakh (ex-showroom), though both bikes differ significantly in performance character and positioning.
