Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 Spotted: 750cc Power and Premium Upgrades on the Way
The Himalayan 750 test mule was spotted with alloy wheels and an upgraded design for the 2026 launch.
Royal Enfield’s much-anticipated Himalayan 750 has been spotted testing on Indian roads, signaling that the flagship adventure tourer could launch by the end of 2026. The bike, previously showcased in prototype form at EICMA 2025, was seen cruising on highways, featuring several design upgrades over the current Himalayan models.
Unlike earlier spy shots that included spoked rims, the latest test mule was equipped with alloy wheels, suggesting that Royal Enfield may prioritize the tubeless, easier-to-maintain version for launch. However, the company could still offer both alloy and spoked variants to cater to traditional adventure bike enthusiasts.
The Himalayan 750 retains the bike’s signature adventure-touring silhouette while introducing refinements aimed at enhancing comfort and long-distance performance. Notable updates include a taller windscreen, a larger half fairing, a reworked fuel tank, an exoskeleton-style frame, a metal bash plate, and a single-pod digital instrument cluster similar to the Himalayan 450. A round LED headlamp continues to maintain the Himalayan’s iconic look, though enthusiasts hope for a more powerful unit suitable for highway touring.

The motorcycle is expected to run on an all-new chassis with upgraded suspension, featuring upside-down front forks and a rear monoshock, likely sourced from Showa. Braking performance should improve with a twin-disc setup at the front for stronger and more consistent stopping power.
Under the hood, the Himalayan 750 will be powered by a larger parallel-twin engine, building on Royal Enfield’s 650 cc platform but reworked for adventure touring. With a displacement around 750 cc, the engine is expected to deliver smoother power, stronger low-end torque, and improved highway cruising capability. The test mule also showcased an upswept exhaust, complementing the bike’s rugged, tour-ready design.
Royal Enfield enthusiasts can likely expect the Himalayan 750 to make its official debut in the 2026 Motoverse, offering a more premium and performance-oriented option in the adventure segment while staying true to the Himalayan’s rugged appeal.
