Ola Electric Announces Holi Offer; Roadster Price Starts at Rs 79,999
Ola Electric launches Holi Mahotsav; Roadster EVs now available from Rs 79,999 onwards.
Ola Electric Mobility Limited on Tuesday unveiled its Holi Mahotsav promotional campaign, marking a new pricing milestone in India’s electric motorcycle market. As part of the limited‑time festive celebration tied to the Holi season, the company announced that its Roadster electric motorcycle range now starts at a competitive ₹79,999 (ex‑showroom) — bringing it into closer price range with many entry‑level internal combustion engine (ICE) two‑wheelers.
The Holi Mahotsav initiative spans just two days and is designed to accelerate consumer adoption of electric motorcycles by lowering the upfront cost barrier that has traditionally kept many first‑time buyers in the ICE segment. The move reflects Ola Electric’s effort to position electric mobility as a mainstream option during one of India’s most important festive buying seasons.
Under the Holi Mahotsav banner, buyers can access special pricing on variants across the Roadster X lineup, with the base model now at ₹79,999. Higher‑capacity versions — including Roadster X units with 3.5 kWh and 4.5 kWh battery packs — are listed at moderately higher prices, while larger battery configurations like the Roadster X+ command premium tags, giving a broad spectrum of choices for different consumer needs and urban commuting requirements.

In addition to the festive pricing, Ola Electric is offering enhanced benefits to members of its Ola Insiders community — a loyalty initiative that provides existing owners with perks such as additional discounts and exclusive offers during the campaign. These incentives aim to bolster overall value and encourage repeat purchases or upgrades among current EV riders.
This pricing strategy follows Ola Electric’s broader push to expand its footprint in the electric two‑wheeler segment, where it has already achieved significant milestones such as producing over one million vehicles and building a diverse product portfolio that includes both scooters and motorcycles. The Holi Mahotsav thrust could help Ola bridge the gap between electric and conventional motorcycles in price‑sensitive markets across India.
Industry analysts say that competitive festive pricing may stimulate demand in a market increasingly crowded with rivals, but sustaining growth will depend on consistent supply, strong dealer support, and customer confidence in after‑sales service — factors that manufacturers across the EV spectrum are still refining.
