Norton Confirms Names of Three New Motorcycles to Debut At EICMA 2025

Norton Motorcycles confirms names of three new models — Manx, Manx R, and Atlas — ahead of EICMA reveal.

Norton Motorcycles, the iconic British brand now under the ownership of TVS Motor Company, has unveiled the names of three new models ahead of their global debut at the EICMA motorcycle exhibition on November 5-10, 2025, marking a pivotal moment in the company's resurgence strategy. The anticipated lineup includes the Manx, a middleweight naked sportbike; the Manx R, its faired supersport counterpart; and the Atlas, an adventure-orientated motorcycle designed for versatile touring. A fourth model, rumoured to feature a potent V4 engine and spotted in multiple spy shots, remains shrouded in mystery, with full reveals set to captivate enthusiasts at the Rho Fiera Milano venue. This announcement signals Norton's bold push to reclaim its heritage while embracing modern engineering, following a comprehensive overhaul of its operations.

Drawing from its storied past, the Manx name revives a legacy single-cylinder model produced from the 1940s to 1960s, symbolising Norton's engineering prowess during the post-war era when it dominated the Isle of Man TT races. The contemporary Manx is poised to blend retro-inspired aesthetics with cutting-edge performance, targeting riders seeking agile urban and track capabilities in the middleweight segment.

Complementing it, the Manx R introduces a fully faired design optimised for high-speed dynamics, potentially incorporating advanced aerodynamics and electronic aids to compete in the supersport arena. Meanwhile, the Atlas echoes another historical nod, resurrecting the moniker of a 1960s parallel-twin model, reimagined as a rugged adventure bike equipped for off-road escapades and long-haul journeys, broadening Norton's appeal across diverse riding disciplines.

The undisclosed fourth model, speculated to house a V4 powerplant, represents the pinnacle of this revival, with earlier sketches hinting at a radical departure from Norton's traditional silhouette—featuring sharper lines and aggressive ergonomics crafted under the vision of Head of Design Simon Skinner. This supersport flagship will be manufactured at Norton's revamped Solihull facility in the UK, underscoring TVS's investment in elevating the brand's production standards since acquiring it in 2020. The Resurgence campaign, encompassing these launches, aims to reposition Norton in a competitive global market dominated by European and Japanese giants, leveraging TVS's technical expertise to infuse reliability and innovation without diluting the marque's bespoke British charm.

As anticipation builds toward EICMA—Europe's premier two-wheeled showcase where industry leaders like Ducati recently unveiled its 2026 Monster with a new 890cc V2 engine—Norton's quartet promises to inject fresh vitality into the premium motorcycle sector. With limited details on specifications, pricing, or launch timelines, the reveals could catalyse renewed interest among collectors and performance enthusiasts alike. This strategic pivot not only honours Norton's racing pedigree but also positions it for sustainable growth, potentially expanding its footprint in key markets like India and beyond, where TVS's influence could streamline distribution and after-sales support.
