Brixton Crossfire Storr 500 Unveil Tomorrow: Is This India’s Next Big Adventure Bike?
Brixton teases the Crossfire Storr 500, a new adventure bike set to challenge Royal Enfield and Honda in India.
Brixton Motorcycles, the Austrian brand gaining traction in India, stirred anticipation with a teaser video showcasing the silhouette of its upcoming Crossfire Storr 500, an adventure tourer poised to make waves in the mid-size motorcycle segment. Scheduled for an official unveiling on September 30, 2025, at India Bike Week, the motorcycle’s full launch is expected by year-end through Brixton’s partner, MotoVault.
While the teaser conceals intricate design details, earlier sightings of test mules suggest a robust, adventure-ready machine designed to compete with the likes of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and Honda NX500, signaling Brixton’s ambition to capture India’s growing adventure biking market, which has seen a 15% annual sales surge.
The Crossfire Storr 500’s silhouette, as revealed in the teaser, exudes a commanding adventure tourer aesthetic, featuring a muscular fuel tank—likely around 17 liters for extended range—knuckle guards for off-road protection, and a tall, adjustable windscreen for highway comfort. Drawing stylistic cues from premium ADVs like the Husqvarna Norden 900, the bike boasts a rugged yet sleek profile with a minimalist tail section and an estimated seat height of 840-850mm, catering to riders seeking versatility across terrains. Built on a tubular steel trellis frame, it rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear tubeless spoked wheels fitted with knobby tires, possibly Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR, ensuring grip on India’s diverse roads, from urban highways to Himalayan trails.
The Storr 500’s mechanical prowess centers on a 486cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, delivering 47 hp at 8,500 rpm and 43 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm, paired with a six-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch for seamless shifts. The suspension setup includes upside-down (USD) forks with 170mm travel upfront and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear offering 160mm, balancing comfort and capability.
Braking is handled by a 320mm front disc with a four-piston radial caliper and a 240mm rear disc with a single-piston floating caliper, complemented by switchable dual-channel ABS and traction control for enhanced safety on loose surfaces. Expected features like a full LED lighting suite and a vertically stacked TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity position the Storr 500 as a tech-forward contender.

Priced competitively at an estimated Rs 5.5-5.8 lakh (ex-showroom), the Crossfire Storr 500 aims to undercut premium rivals like the Honda NX500 (Rs 5.9 lakh) and BMW G 310 GS (Rs 3.3 lakh) while challenging the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 (Rs 2.85-2.98 lakh) with superior refinement and European styling. The international-spec model’s premium components, including KYB suspension and J.Juan brakes, suggest reliability, backed by Brixton’s three-year/30,000 km warranty. With a kerb weight around 195 kg and fuel efficiency of 20-22 kmpl, it promises a practical yet thrilling ride, capable of hitting 175 kmph, making it ideal for long-distance touring and light off-roading.
Set to debut in a market where adventure bikes now account for 12% of premium two-wheeler sales, the Storr 500 positions Brixton as a formidable player against established names like KTM, Benelli, and Triumph. Its launch through MotoVault’s expanding network of 10 dealerships across cities like Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru ensures accessibility, with test rides already available. As India’s adventure biking culture grows, fueled by rising disposable incomes and wanderlust, the Crossfire Storr 500’s blend of power, style, and affordability could redefine the segment, offering riders a compelling alternative to dominate both tarmac and trails.
