BMW F 450 GS: Base Rs 4.7L, Exclusive Rs 4.9L, Trophy Rs 5.3L

BMW F 450 GS variants range Rs 4.7-5.3 lakh.

BMW Motorrad has recently introduced the F 450 GS in India, marking its entry into the accessible adventure touring segment. The motorcycle has been launched as the brand’s smallest GS model and is offered in three variants—Base, Exclusive, and GS Trophy—catering to different levels of riding needs and off-road intent.

The F 450 GS range starts at ₹4.70 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Base variant and goes up to ₹5.30 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-spec GS Trophy trim. Each variant builds upon the previous one with additional features and equipment, while retaining the same core engine and mechanical package across the lineup.

The Base variant serves as the entry point into BMW’s GS ecosystem. It comes equipped with a 6.5-inch TFT display, BMW’s rotary controller, heated grips, ABS, traction control, and adjustable brake and clutch levers. It also includes engine drag torque control and a height-adjustable rear brake lever, making it a well-equipped option for its segment.

The Exclusive variant adds more touring and off-road-focused equipment over the Base model. It includes features such as an engine guard, knuckle guards, a taller windscreen, off-road footpegs, and enhanced electronic riding aids like additional riding modes and a bi-directional quickshifter. This variant is designed for riders seeking a more versatile touring experience without stepping up to the top-spec configuration.

At the top of the range, the GS Trophy variant offers the most premium and off-road-ready package. It comes with adjustable sport suspension, an Easy Ride Clutch system, an aluminum engine guard, and a distinctive rally-inspired design with BMW’s signature tricolor styling. It also includes all features from the Exclusive variant, making it the most capable option for serious adventure riding.

Overall, BMW positions the Base variant as the value entry point, the Exclusive as the balanced all-rounder for touring and light off-roading, and the GS Trophy as the most capable, premium adventure-focused version of the F 450 GS lineup.
