2025 Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak Unveiled: Sporty Adventure Bike with MotoGP Tech

Ducati unleashes 2025 Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak in India at ₹36.17 lakh with 170hp V4 and radar tech.

Ducati has launched the 2025 Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak in India at a premium ₹36.17 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it as the sportiest and most technologically advanced adventure bike in its lineup. Powered by the 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo engine, this model delivers 170 hp at 10,750 rpm and 123.8 Nm of torque, drawing race-inspired innovations such as a counter-rotating crankshaft for superior agility and a rear-cylinder deactivation system for better efficiency during low-speed rides.

Unlike the standard Multistrada V4 designed for off-road use, the Pikes Peak edition is engineered for precision on asphalt, featuring a reworked chassis with a 17-inch forged aluminium front wheel, a revised steering head angle, and a raised single-sided swingarm pivot to enhance cornering and anti-squat dynamics. The riding posture is sportier, with higher footpegs and lower, narrower handlebars that promote aggressive lean angles while maintaining touring comfort.

A standout feature is the Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 suspension, borrowed from Ducati’s Panigale V4 S, which uses event-based electronic adjustments to instantaneously adapt damping based on rider inputs, braking, and lean angles. On the safety front, the bike incorporates advanced radar technology enabling Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, and Forward Collision Warning, complemented by Ducati’s proprietary Vehicle Observer system that optimizes traction, braking, and wheelie control using data from 70 virtual sensors.

The Pikes Peak strikes a striking visual presence, sporting MotoGP-inspired livery, carbon fibre accents, gold-anodised Öhlins forks, and an Akrapovič titanium silencer that enhances performance and reduces weight. The full-LED lighting setup, a 6.5-inch colour TFT display with customizable interfaces, and multiple riding modes (Race, Sport, Touring, Urban, Wet) complete the package, fusing style, technology, and performance.

With this launch, Ducati has delivered a motorcycle that seamlessly balances the thrill of sport riding with the versatility of an adventure tourer, embedding MotoGP-level technology and craftsmanship into a unique ride tailored for enthusiasts seeking top-tier performance on winding roads and long journeys alike.
