2025 Bajaj Pulsar 220F Reaches Dealerships: Dual-Channel ABS, New Colour Schemes, Same 220cc Engine
The 2025 Bajaj Pulsar 220F arrives at dealerships with dual-channel ABS, new colours, and updated graphics, retaining its popular 220cc engine.
The updated 2025 Bajaj Pulsar 220F has begun arriving at dealerships across India ahead of its anticipated official launch, potentially at India Bike Week 2025 scheduled for December 19-20. The iconic semi-faired motorcycle receives significant safety enhancements with the introduction of dual-channel ABS for the first time, preventing wheel lock-up on both ends during hard braking. This upgrade addresses long-standing demands from enthusiasts while maintaining the model's core appeal in the performance commuter segment.
Cosmetic refreshes include two new colour schemes on a black base—one with red and grey accents, the other with copper and grey—accompanied by bolder graphics prominently displayed on the fuel tank, side panels, and fairing. Carbon-fibre-themed highlights add a contemporary touch, sharpening the bike's aggressive styling without altering its classic silhouette featuring projector headlights, split seats, and clip-on handlebars.
Mechanically unchanged, the Pulsar 220F continues to draw power from its proven 220cc air-cooled, single-cylinder DTS-i engine producing 20.4-20.6 PS and 18.55 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Existing features like the fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation and call alerts, USB charging port, and LED lighting remain carried over.

The addition of dual-channel ABS is expected to command a modest price premium of Rs 5,000-7,000 over the outgoing model's ex-showroom pricing starting around Rs 1.38 lakh. This positions the refreshed Pulsar 220F as a more compelling option against rivals in the 200-250 cc category.
As units reach showrooms, the updates reinforce the Pulsar 220F's enduring popularity, blending nostalgic design with modern safety and connectivity for daily riders and weekend enthusiasts alike.
With sustained demand keeping the model relevant nearly two decades after its debut, Bajaj's targeted enhancements ensure the 220F remains a benchmark in affordable sporty motorcycling.
