Avore EX Electric Motorcycle Launched In India: Check Price, Specs, Range, Features

Avore Electric, a new electric vehicle brand from Samarth E-Mobility, has launched its first electric motorcycle, the Avore EX, with a starting price of ₹1,24,999 (ex-showroom). The motorcycle was unveiled by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and is built on a fully indigenous technology platform. Designed to combine the riding experience of a conventional motorcycle with modern electric mobility, the EX series aims to address common concerns such as range anxiety and charging convenience. Bookings have opened for ₹799, with customer deliveries expected to begin within the next two months.
The Avore EX is available in three variants—EX 1, EX 2, and the flagship EX 2S. All three models are powered by a rare-earth-free Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) that delivers 250 Nm of peak wheel torque. The motorcycle also features an Integrated Motor + Swingarm Powertrain, branded as the Drive Link Arm, which centralises weight distribution to improve stability, handling and ride quality. Depending on the variant, the motorcycle produces up to 10.5 kW of power, while the top-spec EX 2S offers a top speed of 114 km/h.
One of the key highlights of the EX series is its IDC-certified range of up to 260 km, aimed at reducing range anxiety for daily commuters and long-distance riders. The motorcycle comes equipped with a 1,500W onboard fast charger, enabling users to charge the battery using a standard 5A or 15A household power socket without requiring dedicated EV charging infrastructure. According to the company, the battery charges from 20% to 80% in around two hours and reaches a full charge in approximately four hours. The battery pack is covered by a five-year or 60,000 km warranty and uses a split-pack architecture to improve thermal management and lower the motorcycle's centre of gravity.

Avore has also equipped the EX with a range of connected and rider-focused technologies. The motorcycle runs on the company's proprietary AVORE SENSE operating system, featuring an AI-powered companion that tracks ride statistics and personalises the user experience. It also introduces Syft, a simulated manual gear mode designed to replicate the feel of a conventional petrol-powered motorcycle. Additional features include the Apex performance mode, PAM+ Park Assist for easier manoeuvring, automatic indicator cut-off and signature illuminated tank styling.
The EX 1, the entry-level variant, offers a certified range of 160 km and a top speed of 100 km/h, while the EX 2 extends the range to 255 km with the same top speed and enhanced styling through dual-tone paint options. The flagship EX 2S delivers the highest performance, offering a certified range of 260 km and a top speed of 114 km/h. Available in Starlit Blue, Meteor Red and Stellar Black, the Avore EX marks the company's entry into India's rapidly expanding electric two-wheeler market, where manufacturers continue to introduce feature-rich models aimed at accelerating EV adoption.
