Rahman has been admitted to Apollo Hospital on Greams Road in Chennai yesterday, after he complained of uneasiness.
While some reports say on his return from London last night, he reported uneasiness and chest pain and was rushed to the hospital, some reports say quoting hospital sources the musician was feeling unwell due to dehydration as he had been fasting for Ramzan. However, Apollo Hospital earlier confirmed to a news agency saying that ARR, after preliminary treatment, was moved for an angiogram. However, the hospital authorities said Rahman's condition was stable, and will soon release a medical bulletin.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin too shared his concern on Rahman's hospitalisation. He confirmed on his X page that Rahman is 'fine.' “As soon as I heard the news that Isaipuyal @arrahman had been admitted to the hospital due to ill health, I contacted the doctors and inquired about his health! They said he is fine and will be back home soon!”, he has posted.
