Fresh leaks around Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 lineup suggest a noticeable design refresh, particularly for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which is expected to feature softer, rounder edges and slimmer bezels. The Galaxy S26 series—comprising the standard Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus and Galaxy S26 Ultra—is rumoured to be unveiled next month, with images of protective cases offering an early look at the devices’ form factor.
According to images shared by noted tipster Evan Blass, the Galaxy S26 Ultra appears to be moving further away from the sharp, boxy design language associated with Samsung’s older Note series. Instead, the flagship model now adopts more rounded corners, bringing its overall look closer to that of the Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus and creating a more uniform design identity across the lineup.
Another visible change is the return of a “camera island” design. Rather than individual camera lenses protruding separately from the rear panel, the Galaxy S26 series is expected to feature a pill-shaped camera module housing most of the sensors. On the Ultra variant, one camera sensor reportedly remains separate, resulting in a cleaner and more streamlined rear appearance.

The leaked images also suggest thinner display bezels across all three models, contributing to a more immersive screen experience. This refinement indicates Samsung’s continued focus on maximising screen-to-body ratio while maintaining consistency in design across its premium smartphones.
In terms of features, the Galaxy S26 series is expected to support Qi2 wireless charging natively. This upgrade should allow for better alignment during charging and improved compatibility with a wider range of magnetic wireless charging accessories, a move that aligns Samsung more closely with emerging industry standards.
Samsung has also teased a new “Privacy Display” technology for the Galaxy S26 lineup. The feature is expected to reduce screen visibility from side angles, helping protect sensitive information from prying eyes, and is likely to debut on the Galaxy S26 Ultra as a flagship-exclusive enhancement.
